Adopted father of Worf, Sergey struggled to cope with the difficulties of raising a Klingon child. He was an ex-Starfleet enlisted man, and was intensely proud of his son's own service aboard the Enterprise-D - Sergey even had all the specs and diagrams of the ship at home.2 Sergey and his wife Helena took custody of Worf's son Alexander after K'Ehlyr was killed by Duras in 2367.3 However, they returned Alexander to Worf in 2368 because he was having a difficult time fitting in to Human society.4
