A member of the Zalkonian species, Sunad supported his government's policy of murdering those who were undergoing transformation into non-corporeal entities. He attempted to kill the crew of the Enterprise-D when they refused to hand over John Doe, one of their citizens which the ship had rescued. Doe was able to prevent the attack and complete his transformation.1
