K'Mpec was leader of the Klingon High Council in 2366. He conspired with Duras to blame Worf's father Mogh for the destruction of the Khittomer outpost, though in fact it was Duras's father was had betrayed the Empire.2 K'Mpec died in 2367 after being posioned, and was succeeded by Gowron.3
