A Klingon warrior, Kohlar led a group of Klingons on a decades long voyage to the Delta Quadrant to follow an ancient Klingon prophecy. He became tired of the endless journey and when his ship encountered Voyager in 2377 he took the chance to decale that B'Elanna Torres fulfilled the prophecy. Although some of his followers doubted the decision, he eventually convinced them and they finally ended their quest and settled down on a nearby planet.1
