A senior Klingon officer in the late 23rd century, General Stex was a member of Chancellor Gorkon's entourage when he beamed aboard the Enterprise-A for a formal dinner whilst that ship was escorting Gorkon to Earth. Later that evening Stex was relaxing aboard the Klingon ship when it was boarded by a pair of assassins who murdered the chancellor. Stex was hit with a phaser blast in the attack, severing his right arm at the shoulder. He later testified to the events at the trial of Captain Kirk and Dr. McCoy. He subsequently attended the peace conference at Camp Khitomer.1
