A member of the Hierarchy, Nar was part of an attempt to force Voyager's EMH to steal the ship's warp core in 2377. To this end he and Zet abducted Captain Janeway and offered to exchange her for the core. Nar had long dreamed of running a more ethical business based on selling second hand parts, and he ultimately betrayed Zet and helped Janeway to escape.1
