A female Qomar, Vinka was one of those rescued by Voyager in 2376 when her transport was disabled. She became a great fan of the EMH's singing after she heard him humming a tune in sickbay, the first time she had ever heard music. Harry Kim was attracted to Vinka, and she pretended to return the feeling so as to get close to the EMH.1
