Gralik

Gralik

Gralik1
Species : Xindi
A Xindi-Arboreal, Gralik was the primary technician at a kemocite production facility which the NX-01 discovered in 2153. He was immensely proud of his work, especially of the extremely high level of purity which his facility could obtain. He was distressed to learn from Captain Archer that kemocite which he had produced was being used in the Xindi ruling council's super-weapon program, and had already been responsible for the deaths of seven million Humans. Gralik agreed to work with Archer against the project, and to that end he both sabotaged a kemocite shipment and planted a homing device in it to enable to NX-01 to pursue the ship carrying it to the weapon production facility. Unfortunately the starship was unable to follow the Xindi vessel through one of the vortexes which were used for high speed travel.1

Gralik's sabotage of the kemocite did cause one of the development prototype weapons to fail, causing a delay in the launch of the full size device.2 When Archer attempted to fool Degra into revealing the location of the weapon via an elaborate deception, he claimed that Gralik had been executed for his actions.3
