A Vissian, Calla and her husband were planning to concieve a child in 2153 when the NX-01 encountered their ship. Trip was fascinated by the idea that the Vissians had three genders, and encounraged the couple's cogenitor to expand its knowledge and interests. When the Vissians insisted that the cogenitor live according to the social norms of their culture it committed suicide, leaving Cally childless.1
