A Klingon agent in the early 2150s, Klaang discovered the Suliban plot to promote a civil war within the Empire. He was pursued by Suliban soldiers and crashlanded on Earth where he was wounded by a Human farmer. Starfleet decided to return Klaang to his home world, assigning this as the first mission of the NX-01. Unfortunately Klaang was abducted by the Suliban whilst en route. Archer was able to track Klaang to a Suliban Helix station and mount a rescue mission before taking him back to meet the Klingon High Council.1
