Marika (Three of Nine)

Marika (Three of Nine)1
Species : Bajorans
Marika was assimilated by the Borg as an adult and spent some time in the collective. She was separated from the collective when the sphere she was travelling on crashlanded on a planet in the Delta Quadrant. Marika's individuality began to re-assert itself, but she was re-assimilated into a mini-colelctive by Seven of Nine. She was later separated from the Borg again, but found that she was still linked to her two companions. In 2376 the link between the three was broken by Voyager's EMH despite the fatal side effects this would have, it having been judged that the few weeks of life as an individual was more valuable than a lifetime as a drone.1
