An officer aboard the ISS Enterprise in the mirror universe, Chekov attempted to assassinate Captain Kirk when he refused to carry out the Imperial order to obliterate the Halkan species. The attempt was foiled when one of Chekov's men turned on him, and he was placed in an agony booth at mirror Spock's suggestion.1
