Mirror Spock

Mirror Spock

Mirror Spock1
Species : Vulcans
A member of the crew of the ISS Enterprise, Spock was as committed to logic as his counterpart in our own universe although he did follow the brutal policies of the Terran Empire. When his Captain Kirk was exchanged with our own Kirk by a transporter accident, his reluctance to exterminate the Halkan species led to Spock being ordered to assassinate the captain. Spock chose to warn Kirk of the order in hopes that he would follow Imperial policy. Kirk's civilised behaviour led Spock to the conclusion that this was not his captain, and he assisted Kirk and his officers in returning to their own universe. Before leaving Kirk suggested to Spock that the Empire's policy of endless conquest could not be continued indefinitely, and that it was therefore illogical to follow such a policy. He indicated that Spock may be able to begin the process of changing the Empire, using the Tantalus field device to gain the political power needed.1 Mirror Spock followed these suggestions, becoming captain of the ISS Enterprise and eventually Commander in chief of the Empire. He instituted many reforms in the Empire, making it less expansionist. However, this weakened to Empire so greatly that the Klingon-Cardassian Alliance was able to conquer it, making slaves of all Terrans.2
