A Terran slave who joined the rebellion, the mirror Bashir was an arrogant and rather hot-headed character.2 He became Jadzia lover after the death of the mirror Sisko, and the two helped the rebels keep control of Terok Nor by fighting a delaying action against the Alliance forces heading for the station and thus giving the rebels time to get the Defiant ready for action.3 Bashir was greatly irritated when Jadzia was killed by the alliance in 2375.4
