Mirror Kira

Mirror Kira

Mirror Kira1
Species : Bajorans
An officer of the Klingon-Cardassian Alliance in the mirror universe, Intendant Kira commanded the Alliance station Terok Nor. She was a rather conflicted character - she could display a degree of warmth and even friendship to some but she ruled the station with the brutality typical of the Alliance, using tactics such as random unprovoked executions to encourage obedience in the workforce. When her counterpart from our universe arrived on the station, Intendant Kira was greatly amused with the idea that another version of herself existed and even displayed a certain romantic interest in her counterpart. The mirror Ben Sisko was a privateer who worked for the Intendant.2 The real Sisko was able to use this relationship to engineer a meeting with the mirror Jennifer Sisko and convince her not to work for the Alliance in 2371.3 The Intendant was captured by the rebellion in 2372 but she was able to escape, killing the mirror Nog and Jennifer Sisko in the process.4 In 2374 the Intendant attempted to steal one of the Bajoran Orbs from Deep Space Nine, though the real Kira was able to prevent the attempt.5 The Intendant's repeated failures against the rebels led to a significant weakening of her position. In 2375 she managed to capture Zek, who had travelled to the mirror universe to open a trade route. She had her lover Ezri Tigan come to our universe and blackmail Quark and Rom into obtaining a cloaking device, which she hoped to use to boost her popularity with Regent Worf. Although the cloaking device was duly obtained, the Regent was unable to gain any great advantage from using it. Kira was able to escape the resultant defeat and remained at large.6
