Charlie Evans was left without Human company on the planet Thasus when his parents were killed. He was looked after by the non-corporeal Thasians, who helped him to develop powerful mental abilities. Charlie found it impossible to fit in with Human culture when he was eventually rescued, and was returned to the planet by a Thasian.1
