Malik

Malik

Malik1
Species : Humans
A genetically engineered Human, Malik was far stronger, faster and more intelligent than the average Human. He was a headstrong man who was unsatisfied with the conditions on Varex III, the planet where Dr. Auric Soong had bred the embryos he stole from Cold Station 12. Malik stole a bird of prey to allow his people to escape from the planet; when the leader Raakin challenged his actions, Malik betrayed and killed him with the help of Persis.1 He subsequently launched a raid on Cold Station 12 in order to steal both the remaining Augmented embryos and a large quantity of bioweapons. He murdered Smike during the attack because he regarded him as weak.2 When Soong refused to use the weapons on a Klingon colony, Malik replaced him as leader of the Augments. He murdered Persis when she helped Soong to escape, and attempted to use the weapons. Malik's Bird of Prey was crippled by the NX-01 and he destroyed the ship rather than be captured. He beamed himself to the Enterprise before the explosion and was killed by Archer whilst attempting to murder Soong.3
