A child encountered by Voyager in 2377, Yun's species had virtually obliterated themselves centuries before when the Earth probe Friendship One landed on their planet with a cargo of advanced technological information. Her people used antimatter technology to build weapons and reactors, but a devastating accident polluted their world. Like the rest of her people, Yun was badly scarred by radiation.1
