A Takret, Renth was a member of the militia until he became dissatisfied with the corruption within that organisation. He and two companions abandoned the milita and fled, seeking refuge on the NX-01. He was almost recaptured when the ship was boarded by the Takret militia during a neutronic storm, but Captain Archer was able to regain control.1
