A psychologist, Dehner was on board the Enterprise to study crew reactions under extreme conditions. Born in Delman, she was 21 years old, 5 feet 2 inches tall and had an ESP rating of 088, an aperception quotient of 20/100 and Duke-Heidelburg Quotient of 258. Her EPS abilities, already high for a human, were boosted to god-like levels by an encounter with the energy barrier at the edge of the galaxy. She was subsequently killed in a battle with Gary Mitchell, who had developed similar abilities.1
