Species : Vidiians
One of the first Vidiians encountered by Voyager's crew, Dereth was a victim of the Phage and like many of his people he stole body parts from other species to replace sections of his own body destroyed by the disease. He stole Neelix's lungs in 2371, but when threatened with reprisals by Janeway he agreed to help modify one of Kes's lungs and transplant it as a replacement.1
