I couldn't watch it! Apologies for the run of bad reviews, but this was rubbish. The accents were terribly phoney and nobody in this seemed the least bit Scottish. It might have been OK if they had just not bothered (Picard sounds terribly English, but you hardly ever believe he's anything other than French). Then, if it's meant to look Scottish, either film it in Scotland or build a decent set, don't bother trying to make California look Scottish. OK, that's the production, a good story can make up for that. I'm sorry, but this was not a good story. |
