Now, this one was interesting. Garak and Odo, possibly the two most interesting DS9 characters, get plenty of screen time, which is excellent. As ever, Garak gets some very good lines. I initially thought he was being serious about eating the isolinear rod, and he manages to get very close to the truth about Odo's feelings for Kira. We get some idea about Garak's shady past as well, although we still can't be sure how much of it is true. I've never been keen on DS9, but this is one of those episodes I can watch again and again. If I get the chance to watch the next episode, I certainly will. |
