Title : Star Fleet Blueprints: U.S.S. Excelsior Ingram Class Plans

Review : This is an interesting idea, more for the imagination shown in the plans than in keeping with canon. The majority of the plans show a comparison in size between the USS Ingram, a modified Excelsior Class ship, and the refit Constitution-class Enterprise, in exterior views. Unfortunately the sizes are significantly off, with the Ingram showing up as Galaxy-class in size. Nevertheless, there are some very imaginative ideas here, published before anyone knew what would or would not become canon. For example, the ship features Transwarp Engines, Megaphaser Cannons (long before Defiant) mounted on the nacelle struts, a Cloaking Device, and 4 Shuttle/Fighter Bays (long before Akira.) A period piece in a way, but definitely worth a look.
