Review : This book gives the central premise for the remander of the series, essentially giving the reader the reason why the Enterprise has to remain with the colony for 4 more books. Again, problems plague the crew from both the colonists as well as some new troublesome aliens who believe that the Federation is invading "their" space.
Reviewer : Ktasay Rating : 3
Review : The overall plot was a bit weak, and I found it somewhat unbelievable that Spock couldn't come up with a way to get the second moon on a path that didn't rely every ship to follow and adjust it's course every few minutes. Characterization was well done and followed nicely with the first book. Overall a good follow-up to Wagon Train to the Stars.
