Review : Pretty good in comparison to other star trek books. It also filled in a bunch of storyline gaps that involve Zephram and and earth of that time.

Review : By far, my favorite Star Trek book. It fills in the gaps between our time and the time of Kirk logically while remaining in step with hints dropped in during the various series. The only nitpick I have come to develop about the book is that it has ruined me to "Star Trek: First Contact", as it presents the same history quite differently than this book did. The book moves very well between the times of Cochrane, Kirk and Picard.

Review : In short, I loved this book. Each chapter moves between the times of Cochrane, Kirk, and Picard very well. It basically leaves each chapter on a cliffhanger ending and then moves you right on to the next timeline, leaving the reader starving for what happens next. It continues to do this right up until the last page. I would seriously recommend this book to any fan of Trek novels.
