Reviewer : James Tobias Rating : 3
Review : Gerrold tried with this book but ultimatly it's the novel of a poor episode. As everyone knows the first two seasons of TNG were less than perfect and have'nt aged well. Neither in truth has the novel. As with many others it's mostly a stright rewrite of the episode with a few small additions (Such as more page space for McCoy, and backstory for Doctor Crusher). Ultimatly a well written novel but let down by what it's coming from.
