This Class M planet was near the edge of the galaxy, being approximately an hour from the galactic energy barrier at Warp 11. In 2268 a Kelvan ship was destroyed near the planet as it crossed the energy barrier. Several survivors from the ship landed on the planet where they subsequently captured a landing party from the USS Enterprise, and then the ship itself.1
