This Delta Quadrant planet is the home world of the Kohl people. The planet underwent a solar flare in 2353 which caused a significant climate shift and bathed the planet in radiation, threatening the Kohl. Although they took refuge in suspended animation, most of the Kohl did not survive. Voyager encountered the few surviving Kohl still locked into suspended animation when it visited the planet in 2372.1
