Planet which was the site of a major Dominion Communications relay. AR-558 was the scene of bitter ground fighting after the Allied invasion of Cardassian space, with little in the way of reinforcements arriving for the hard pressed Federation forces there. In spite of months of gruelling battle with the Jem'Hadar and heavy casualties, Federation troops continued to hold the relay.1
