Plotline : Janeway discovers a member of the Q continuum imprisoned in the centre of a comet nucleus. The Q, known as Quinn, is on the run from the rest of his kind because he decided to commit suicide out of boredom. When the continuum send a representative to recapture Quinn, Janeway must hold a hearing to decide his fate.
Analysis : A great episode.

YATI : Quinn claims to have been bottled up in the comet for 300 years. Yet he later says his death wish was inspired by the misbehaving of Q, which mostly seems to have happened within the last decade or so. I suppose there could be some kind of time travel aspect to Quinn's punishment, but why would they bother?

Factoid : Writer Shawn Piller is the son of Voyager co-creator Michael Piller
