Plotline : Voyager locates a group of Talaxians in a nearby asteroid field, and drops in to pay them a visit. On the way through the field the Delta Flyer is disabled by a large explosion caused by alien miners. Knocked unconscious in the crash, Neelix wakes to find himself and his shipmates virtually prisoners of the paranoid Talaxians. It soon becomes clear that the local miners are intent on destroying the asteroid the Talaxians live on, whether they leave it or not. Neelix becomes determined to save his new friends - and in doing so makes attachments that will lead to an emotional goodbye.

YATI : Neelix claims it is the 315th anniversary of the Vulcan first contact with Earth. In fact, it should be the 314th.
Great Moment : Neelix's walk to the transporter room. I love it when they do this to wish somebody goodbye. And it was only on about the third viewing that I realized that he never says a single word as he is leaving!
Body Count : No deaths in this one, that we know of.
Factoid : Obviously, this episode is the last to feature Ethan Phillips in a "live" role. He will appear only once more, seen on a viewscreen in "Endgame".
Quote : "Goodbye. And good luck, Ambassador." - Janeway's final words to Neelix.
