YATI : The Kraylor ship is a rebuild of the Federation fighter design which we have seen used a few times.
Great Moment : Kim, once again bemoaning the fact that he's still an Ensign.
Body Count : 29 killed in the initial battle. Probably others off screen.
Factoid : Beverly Leech also played Elizabeth Sheriden in the Babylon 5 episode "Revelations".
Quote : "Have you thought about applying to the advocate general's office? You'd make a good lawyer." - Janeway to Kim, when he points out her own regulation violations.

Plotline

While Voyager is landed on a planetary surface for major maintenance, Harry Kim takes the Flyer out to look for dilithium. Stumbling across a battle between an alien warship and a medical transport, he violates regulations to lend aid to the weaker ship. Finding all the experienced crewmembers dead, he talks Janeway into agreeing to let him command the ship for the trip home - a mission complicated by the fact that Voyager has already struck up a friendship with the enemy species.
