Plotline : When one of the Maquis is found unconscious, Chakotay suspects some kind of outside influence is at work on the ship. Tuvok, however, believes in a more sinister explanation. Can a member of the crew really be attacking his or her shipmates? As paranoia begins to rear its ugly head on the ship, Tuvok's investigations point to a most unlikely suspect...

YATI : When Tuvok walks into his quarters, he takes off his jacket and stares at himself in the mirror. He sees the Bajoran's face there and charges out of the room in a massive hurry - but when we see him in the corridor a moment later, his combadge has appeared on his shirt!
Great Moment : Tim Russ does a great job as Tuvok in this episode. His portrayal of the Vulcan's inner struggle is very convincing.
Body Count : No fatalities. At least seven Maquis are rendered unconscious by Tuvok.
Factoid : This episode finally establishes how many Maquis there are on Voyager. It states that "almost a quarter" of the crew are Maquis. Previous episodes have established that there are approximately 145 people on the ship, so there must be about 30 - 35 Maquis.
Quote : "Let me get this straight. You've gone to all this trouble to program a three-dimensional environment that projects a two-dimensional image and now you're asking me to wear these to make it look three-dimensional again?" - B'Elanna to Tom.
