Review

Series : The Next Generation Rating : 4
Disc No : 4.2 Episode : 80
First Aired : 5 Nov 1990 Stardate : 44246.3
Director : Jonathan Frakes Year : 2367
Writers : Drew Deighan, Jo Perry, Thomas Perry Season : 4
Guest Cast :
April Grace as Transporter Chief Maggie Hubbell
Basil Wallace as Guard #1
Charles Cooper as K'mpec
Jon Steuer as Alexander Rozhenko
Michael Rider as Security Guard
Mirron E. Willis as Klingon
Patrick Massett as Duras
Robert O'Reilly as Gowron
Suzie Plakson as K'Ehleyr
Tracee Lee Cocco as Ensign Jae
Moral :
Carpe Diem : Because one day you'll look around and realise it's too late...
YATI : When Riker asks the computer where Worf is, it replies that he has beamed over to the Klingon ship. Yet Worf removed his combadge before leaving, and we've seen many times (eg "Power Play") that the computer tracks people purely by where their badge is. The computer should have said that Worf was in his quarters.
Great Moment : Worf killing Duras. I never thought the writers would let him go through with it!
Body Count : Duras, K'Ehleyr and K'mpec, plus two unnamed Klingons killed by the bomb.
Factoid : This was the first episode to feature the Klingon Vor'cha class attack cruiser.
Quote : "Not even a bite on the cheek for old time's sake?" - K'Ehleyr to Worf.

Plotline

Picard is asked by the dying head of the Klingon Empire to arbitrate the ceremony that will choose the sucessor. Meanwhile, Worf's lover K'Ehleyr returns with a big surprise in tow.
