Worf asks the folks on the train if they have finished the jigsaw puzzle. But when we see his point of view, the puzzle is in plain sight and it's perfectly obvious that it is nowhere near finished. So the Enterprise has become self-aware, enough that it can design and build offspring and actually out-think the crew in many respects. So, why does it suddenly stop thinking for itself at the end of the episode? |
