Pressman claims that the Romulans have found a piece of the Pegasus. Okay... but it turns out that the Pegasus never exploded. So either bits just fell off the ship for no good reason, or the Admiral is lying. Admittedly the latter possibility is not wholly unlikely... Just out of curiosity, isn't Picard also guilty of violating the treaty when he uses the Pegasus phase cloak device to escape the asteroid? I wonder what he would have done if the Romulan captain he declared that he was under arrest and asked him to come aboard their ship for return to Romulus to stand trial? |
