YATI : Why doesn't Troi appear in this episode? Surely it would be useful to have her monitoring Picard's mind while he is unconcious, like she did with Riker in "Shades of Grey".
Great Moment : Patrick Stewart puts in one of his greatest acting performances in all of the next generation for this episode. It's truly wonderful.
Body Count : Zero.
Factoid : Virtually all the 'outdoors' sections of this episode were actually filmed on an indoor set.

This episode is a nominee for the DITL "Best of Trek" award.

Quote : "If you remember what we were and how we lived, then we will have found life again." - Eline to Picard.

Plotline

Under the influence of a mysterious probe, Picard believes his time in Starfleet was a delusion and settles down to live out his life on the planet Kataan.

Analysis

A superb acting performance by Patrick Stewart makes this one of Star Treks finest hours.
