Arriving at the "amusement park" planet for some R&R, the Enterprise finds that the planet's Caretaker has died. Without supervision the machinery has begun focusing on dangerous images from the visitor's thoughts... |
| Analysis : |
It's unfortunate that the animated series once again chose to re-hash a TOS episode rather than do something original. That said, this does put a different twist on the original and so creates a somewhat darker story. |

A couple of uniform errors; Chapel is shown with a black collar on her uniform, and Spock is shown with his insignia on the wrong side. |

The Caretaker's tombstone says that he died in the 7009th year of operation. My year for this episode is estimated from the Stardate; it is one of a group of TAS episodes set between 'For the World is Hollow and I Have Touched the Sky' and 'Is There in Truth no Beauty?' |
