Great Moment : Finding out about Spock's early life.

Factoid : Although TAS is not considered a canonical part of Star Trek, elements of Spock's backstory established here have made it into official sources and future live-action episodes of TNG.

My year for this episode is estimated from the Stardate; it is one of a group of TAS episodes set between 'The Empath' and 'The Mark of Gideon'.

This episode is a nominee for the DITL "Best of Trek" award.
