Series : Enterprise Rating : 2 Random Image
Disc No : 1.3 Episode : 14
First Aired : 30 Jan 2002 Stardate : Unknown
Director : Les Landau Year : 2151
Writers : Fred Dekker Season : 1
Guest Cast :
Michelle C. Bonilla as Bu'KahVaughn Armstrong as Klingon Captain
Plotline : Investigating a gas giant, Enterprise discovers an alien ship slowly sinking into the atmosphere. A shuttlepod goes to investigate, and finds that the ship is a damaged Klingon scout ship with virtually the whole crew disabled by a disease. A surviving Klingon steals the shuttle pod, stranding Reed, Hoshi and T'Pol on the alien ship. Archer manages to capture the escaping Klingon, and must convince her to help his officers before her ship is crushed.

YATI : When the Klingon demands Archer's surrender, Archer points out that the Klingon ship is no match for Enterprise and makes him back down. But surely every Klingon dreams of a glorious death in battle? Surely the Klingon captain would jump at the chance of attacking Archer and being destroyed? And since Archer has supposedly just spent time reading up on the Klingon culture, shouldn't he know better than to make a threat like this in the first place?
Great Moment : It's nice to see a new, less cowardly Hoshi.
Body Count : Zero.
Factoid : Vaughn Armstrong is, of course, a long time Trek actor. He has played Admiral Forrest in many Enterprise episodes. In Voyager he played Korath in "Endgame, Part 1", a Hirogen in "Flesh and Blood, Part 1", a Vidiian Captain in "Fury", Lansor (Two of Nine) in "Survival Instinct", and Telek R'Mor" in "Eye of the Needle". In DS9 he played Gul Danar in "Past Prologue", and in TNG he played Commander Korris in "Heart Of Glory".
Quote : Bu'Kah : "I've never seen your kind before, but you have made an enemy of the Klingon Empire!"
Archer : "From what I've noticed, that's not hard to do."
