Director : Rene Auberjonois Year : 2374

Guest Cast :
Casey Biggs as DamarJeffrey Combs as Weyoun
Marc Alaimo as Gul Dukat
Plotline : A Federation Starship comes under Dominion attack while transporting Sisko and Dukat, leaving the two stranded on an uninhabited planet. The injured Sisko is dependant on Dukat for his survival, but as the two discuss the past he begins to realise that the former Gul may be somewhat mentally challenged.

YATI : Dukat says he can't fix Sisko's broken arm because he isn't familiar with the equipment. Er, isn't this standard Starfleet issue? Shouldn't Sisko be able to use it himself? Even assuming the gadget takes two hands, surely he could at least tell Dukat what to do?
Great Moment : Marc Alaimo has always given Dukat a nicely ambiguous slant. Here he does a great job of showing us the truth beneath that civilised exterior.
Body Count : The crew of the starship; probably about 500 - 1,000 people.
Factoid : Jeffrey Combs originally auditioned for the role of Riker in TNG! He didn't get the part, but Frakes liked him so much that he cast him as Weyoun when he directed a DS9 episode. He went on to become the only actor to play three different characters in a single season of Star Trek.
Quote : Dukat : "I should have killed every last one of them! I should have turned their planet into a graveyard the likes of which the galaxy had never seen! I should have killed them all!"
Sisko : "And that is why you're not an evil man?"
