YATI : Why doesn't DS9 have weapon detectors like Starships do? Odo always seems very keen on the whole no-weapons-allowed thing, you would think those alarms we saw in Star Trek VI would be quite useful. Yet somebody gets vapourised in this episode, and no alarm sounds.
Quote : "But you can't go through life trying to avoid getting a broken heart. If you do, it'll break from lonliness anyway." - Bashir to Odo.
