Roy Scheider dies

Post by Graham Kennedy »

I was watching Jaws 2 last night, then I hear that Roy Scheider died of cancer that very day. So sad. Never a great big star, but he always did a good job in his movies and seemed like a real gent offscreen too.

:(

Son of a... He's one of my personal favorites. His performance in Naked Lunch was especially awesome. R.I.P.

Jaws is a horror film, no? I can't stand horror films...they make me feel ill and I am prone to unpleasant dreams...

Err, no. A thriller, and you'll jump out of your skin a few times, but it's not a horror.

As for Scheider himself - RIP. Be it as Brody or Bridger, he was a great actor.

Thats not a horror film, you could see worse if you've ever seen someone hit by a car, shot by a shotgun, seeing bratz cartoons and lord knows whatelse. Besides, the graphics are so funny to look at now days. Its so fake it makes me laugh everytime I see it. That and the guy getting bit in half, that was pretty damn funny!

If you want horror, go watch Glitter.
