Another very noticeable thing about the movie. Ian and I sat through the entire credits waiting for a scene that would imply a happy ending to come. I figured surely they HAD to have something like that. But instead
It really is an incredibly bleak ending.

Its $250 million domestic opening box office is technically the highest ever beating Star Wars: The Force Awakens' $242 million domestic 2015 opening. However, when adjusted for inflation, in today's money, TFA made $261 million.
