The first time I saw that teaser trailer with the USS Fugly, I knew Discovery would suck.
It's a shame to be proven right over and over.

I can't decide if it's sad or hilarious watching these two try to convince each other that it all makes perfect sense.

It's something of a theme with them. They do a LOT of Discovery videos, and about 9/10 of them consist of their desperately casting around for a context in which any of it could possibly make sense.

Indeed. So to the point of the video, we now know that this thing is longer than a Sovereign and appears to my untrained eye to have at least the internal volume of an Excelsior, all with a little over 100 crew, because CANON!

Since the saucer section rotates, they should make a Discovery pizza cutter. I'm sure someone is marketing this crap somewhere.
