Watching the Stargate DVDs from Season 1

Post by Jim »

I just finished watching season 2 of Stargate yesterday. The amount of humor in that show is amazing. It really was a full, well rounded entertaining show.

Yeah, Stargate is quite a show. :)

That said, was there any point in making this thread? :?

There has to be a Point so that Someone like Rochey or even more so, Deepcrush, can change the subject.

Well, there doesn't have to be a point per se, but I came into a topic labeled 'Stargate DVDs' expecting something about DVDs. :)

My bad. I should have titled it something like... "I am watching the Stargate DVD's from the beginning..."

I just finished season 7. I was amazed at home much the commentators mentioned that they had to do things out of the continuity or things like "that can't happen because of..." type stuff. They were saying that they refer to it a "gives". As in "the audience has to give that that happened/happens for story purposes.

Basically, it was the writers, producers and directors saying that sometimes the show actually takes presidence over the "universe"
