Post the episode that captures your attention every time it comes on. The one where you turn off your phone, tie up and cork the various pets, and sit 2 inches from the screen to enjoy.

For me it's a toss-up between "Mirror, Mirror" and "The Doomsday machine".

 I think if you're tying up and corking your pets, you've got far more on your mind than Star Trek!

While I enjoy the Original Series, there are really only a handful of episodes that I will go to any sort of ends to watch:

Balance of Terror
Space Seed
The Doomsday Machine
The Naked Time

City on the Edge of Forever, but you already know that. It's our best of trek for TOS.

Let me think,

City on the edge of forever.
Balance of terror.
The Doomsday Machine.
Mirror, Mirror.

There's a few others I can't remember just now.

"The Cage" - the first ever Trek ;)
"Balance of Terror"
"Space Seed"
"Doomsday Machine"
"The Trouble With Troubles"
"Day of the Dove"
"Turnabout Intruder"

Those are my nominations. :)

The tribbles! How could I have forgotten them? One of the funnier episodes in my opinion.

City of the Edge of Forever, brilliant.

And I only saw it for the first time a few years ago, I must have missed it in the 70s and 90s when I watched quite a lot, hard to imagine I wouldn't have remembered if I had seen it.

The trouble with tribbles. Very amusing episode.

The Arena was pretty good. Cheesey, but good.
