Abramsprise revised
Abramsprise revised
One thing I hated was how large the nacelles were and how 'skinny' the engineering hull was in the new Enterprise. I have no clue who made the original since I got it off of the internet almost two years ago.
I changed the markings to TOS, altered the nacelles and changed the bussard collectors to red. I fatten up the engineering hull as much I can and altered the front part of it and then changed the deflector dish to a goldish color. I am not completely happy with the bottom part of the engineering hull though.
What do you think?

It's like the Ford and Mercury versions... or Toyota and Lexus... etc...
I didnt care for the organic curves of the nacelles compared to the saucer. Your version straightens it a bit.

Re: Abramsprise revised
But the important question is, how long is it?!
I rather like your revisions, actually.

1,746 meters. They scaled it twice as big as it should be, so why not scale it twice as big as the Abramsprise?GrahamKennedy wrote:But the important question is, how long is it?!

Seriosuly, my version is about the same size as refit E-nil.
Currently I am working on a new project. Basically the refit Enterprise is a new ship because hardly anything would have survived intact during the refit. So I am working my way back from TMP Enterprise and giving it a TOS look. I am using the Phase II Enterprise as a starting point.

Re: Abramsprise revised
Wasn't Phase II the triangular-hulled one for the TV series that was never made?

Yes and no. The one I am using is what fans call the Constitution (II) class.

I like the changes to the engineering hull but I kinda prefer the blue colouring.McAvoy wrote:One thing I hated was how large the nacelles were and how 'skinny' the engineering hull was in the new Enterprise. Re: Abramsprise revised
The whole purpose was to make it look TOS as possible while making it 'sexy, sleek'.

What program are you doing this in?
Re: Abramsprise revised
Photoshop CS3. I got the original picture off of the internet. I don't remember who made it but it does resemble Irishman's work though.

Sounds good. I like the actual modifications just not the colour.

I prefer the new red, stands out more. Looks good though

Well I wanted it to look more TOS Enterprise as much as I could.
