Problems

â€

Those symbols are cropping up all over the damned place. They are ruining posts.
They say that in the Army,
the women are mighty fine.
They look like Phyllis Diller,
and walk like Frankenstein.

I haven't seen that, but I noticed last night that there is no provision any longer to upload an avatar from a URL, only from a saved file.

Re-enabled, not sure why it got turned off. The database has been significantly updated during the move.

I haven't seen those at all. Maybe those so affected accessed the forum before doing the nslookup?

BTW, I got some random, unrecognized DNS when I performed that command using "http://www.ditl.org." It worked exactly as predicted, though, when I just used "ditl.org."

Those.

Check the Daystrom RP forum. I resubmitted my last post because it was all FUBAR, but you can see plenty of previous posts effected.

The auto login feature isn't working. I keep setting it, but every damned time, I have to manually but in my name and password.

And the issue with those odd marks are fixed now by the way. Thanks Ian.

Works for me. Try clearing out your username and password and then using it again. Or try quitting your web browser.

Are you sure it's quotes. It will strip out anything with 'www.' or 'http://' in.

Pretty Sure. I tried posting:

and it wouldn't go in.

I've been getting the same issue in the caption comp, no URL involved.
